Christmas Gift Fair

Great oak hall

Had a great opportunity recently to take part with some other lovely exhibitors from the Bristol area in a fair at Westonbirt Arboretum , in the lovely Oak Hall there, we ( me and Elaine Knight on our table)  had our stall selling prints and framed work and when the sunshine came out so did the people to buy things!

I hope to soon put some of the Prints and Photos I was selling here, on my etsy shop!

i have said it out loud, so I shall have to do it now!

Copper plate in process, #2

Detail of proof of #2 plate

This is a detail of one of three (soon to be four) large copper plates ( about A2 size) that I am working on at the moment, and the first proof of it after  etching  to add more lines. they are going well if slowly!

I have tried to exaggerate the perspectives of the trees to emphasise  some of the extraordinary shapes  they make, and have been using a new process for me, sugar lift then spit biting.
