Alchemy Show

alchemyA3

If anyone is in the Stroud area around the 8th of March and beyond, you should go see this show, free entry and loads of examples of the different printmaking techniques out there.

There is more to prints than the inkjet  😉

Thanks for looking!

Final Print Images

These are the three final prints I put up in the  my degree show

( well versions of them, they vary slightly),

these are just printed cleanly without too much added.

I shall upload images of the slightly different versions, and hopefully with links to my etsy shop where you can purchase your very own copy!  Soooon!

Copper plate in process, #2

Detail of proof of #2 plate

This is a detail of one of three (soon to be four) large copper plates ( about A2 size) that I am working on at the moment, and the first proof of it after  etching  to add more lines. they are going well if slowly!

I have tried to exaggerate the perspectives of the trees to emphasise  some of the extraordinary shapes  they make, and have been using a new process for me, sugar lift then spit biting.

No pain no gain!

so, progress on the collaborative piece, built up the layers, and now stitching through it all, to help hold bits on and add to the design, but it takes it toll on the old digits hence a bit of tape to help.
