Two Mornings Drawing With The Lovely People At The Cameron Centre, Lockleaze, Bristol…

Ā As I mentioned in a previous post, I was to do a workshop starting with Ink Drawing , here are a few pictures of some of the work going on from the ink drawing, Ā to the next week, where we had a go at lino and/or mono printing with linseed oil , oil pastels and oil paint.Ink Drawing Workshop

I had taken a range of object as possible Drawing inspiration, everyone just got on and drew something with gusto, it was great !

The next week Ā produced some lovely prints in quite a short time, 2 Ā hours!

It was a lovely experience to go and share some techniques with Ā them, I had a Ā great time, hope they did too.

As a project for the artists book club I am a member of, we had to make some sort of folded book. This was my attempt at an accordion illustrated book based on one of the traditional rhymes about magpies.

I made lino prints for all the black parts then painted in the rest with inks and watercolour, with the aims of an edition of 10 I have made 4 so far…
