A Magpie Rhyme

One for sorrow,

Two for joy,

Three for a girl

And four a boy,

Five for silver,

Six for gold,

Seven for a secret never to be told..

Many of us  know at least some of this rhyme, and there are slightly different versions depending where you come from (I found out).

After remembering this rhyme when faced  at the same time, with trying to come up with a folded book for the artists book club I am a member of, thought the two could be brought together, and an idea was formed that turned into this accordion style hard backed hand-bound book!
